ALIEN: The Betz Sphere

In May of 1974, Terry Betz and his two sons came across a metal sphere laying in the grass near their home in Ft. George Island, Florida. The sphere was slightly scuffed and only had one identifying mark – a tiny triangle about 3mm long. They took it home and nearly forgot all about it until a few days later when a friend came over and started to play guitar. It was then that the sphere began to vibrate and hum. After placing it on a table to inspect it more closely, everyone watched in surprise as the sphere began to roll around – all on its own.
